The 30-foot 1967 Airstream Sovereign land yacht was completely remodeled into an exhibition space in 2001 by Alleghany Meadows. Based in Carbondale, CO, the project has exhibited work by more than 150 artists in over 400 locations across the US, from universities and museums to conferences and farmers markets. Artstream presents emerging artists alongside established makers with long careers and is committed to expanding the diversity of the field by seeking out and presenting artists representing a full spectrum of gender, ethnicity, nationality, and race.
