SAW artists will also be donating their artwork for a silent auction (same day, at SAW) to benefit the Carbondale Clay Center’s Angus Graham Memorial Scholarship. Angus Graham passed away this fall and was a ceramic artist at SAW for many years; we’re honored to be able to support the Clay Center in his memory.

We are celebrating 10 years with a themed group show featuring fresh works relating to 10/tin* by SAW members and an Organic Food tin/aluminum* Can Drive For LiftUp (local food bank) and the Standing Rock gathering to support the oil pipeline protests.

S.A.W. Open House – Cinco de Mayo!! Please join Studio for Arts + Works (S.A.W.) for our 2016 Spring Open House event at 525 Buggy Circle, Carbondale, on Thursday, May 5th, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Meet familiar and new artists working at S.A.W. (including the recently relocated folks from max.ink/ProjectShop, and Modern West Floral Company). See prints, glass, jewelry, photography, paintings, sculpture, pottery, and more!. Check out the artists’ studio spaces and chat with the makers! Find a fantastic gift for Mom! There will be live music by DJ Benny to entertain during the latter half of the event, and light refreshments will be served. This event is free and open to all. Sawliday Holiday Art Sale!
Saturday, December 12, 2015 from 1-6pm

Join the artists of SAW for our annual SAWliday Holiday Art Sale, Saturday, December 12th from 1-6pm. Tour the studios, meet the artists, and enjoy caroling and live music while shopping from a variety of handmade paintings, collages, cards, prints, pottery, sculpture, jewelry and more. With over 20 artists now working at SAW, this will be our biggest open house yet. Don’t miss the fun or your chance to shop local this year and support the arts. All are welcome-attendance is free and open to the public.

“Caroling Chorale” will be serenading us with their holiday musical selections around 1pm, so come early and sing along!

Join the artists of SAW for a Fall Open Studio on Sunday, September 27, from 3-8pm.  Refreshments served, art for sale, kiln unloading, and outdoor movie starting at dusk.  Bring your friends!  Bring your love of art!  Bring your blankets (for the movie)!  See you at SAW!

The SAW Spring Open House and art sale will be on May 7th from 5 to 9 pm at 525 Buggy Circle in Carbondale!  Please join the many artists of the Studio for Arts + Works (SAW) as they share their paintings, pottery, jewelry, sculpture, ceramics, metalwork and other creative endeavors from their individual studio spaces. Check out the silent auction in support of CCAH, the Carbondale Council on the Arts and Humanities!  There will be live music and refreshments, and this event is free and open to all. The annual SAWliday Open House and art sale will have two dates this year!  Please join the twenty-four artists of the Studio for Arts + Works (SAW) in celebrating the holiday season on Thursday December 11th from 5 – 8 p.m., and Saturday December 13th from noon – 4 p.m. at 525 Buggy Circle, Carbondale.  Paintings, pottery, jewelry, sculpture, ceramics, and metalwork by SAW artists will be on view in the artists individual studio spaces!
