Deborah received her BFA from MassArt in Boston. During this time she also was a founding member of the The Graphic Workshop. Once graduated, she moved to the Roaring Fork Valley where she continued designing and screen printing posters and became the K-8 art teacher at the Aspen Community School in Woody Creek. She began making books, mixed media pieces and installation art. In 1995 she founded and directed the Wyly Community Art Center in Woody Creek and moved the organization to Basalt in 2004. Deb recently left the world of community arts. She currently works in her studio on Basalt Mountain making paintings, collages, and installations as well as creating book arts at SAW in the max.ink/projectshop. Her work has been exhibited locally and nationally.
