Elissa is a native of the Roaring Fork Valley. Growing up in the heart of the Rocky Mountains has informed her art from an early age. She is a poet and painter. Elissa double majored in Visual Arts and English at Bowdoin College and is currently working on her Master’s In Literature at Middlebury’s Bread Loaf School of English. She is a retired high school English and Studio Arts teacher and is now a ski patroller on Aspen Mountain and a yoga teacher. Elissa enjoys working with upcycled materials and works hard to sustain a hand-made life. She enjoys good stories, good friends, and good food.
