Elizabeth Cockrill is a ceramicist and encaustic painter who has been working on the side for years in art, and is currently getting associates degrees in Studio Arts and Digital Media Production at Colorado Mountain College. She began her ceramics career in Madison Wisconsin at the University of Wisconsin in 1987, and continued her passion for working with clay at the Columbia College ceramics studio in 1991 in Columbia, California. After many ceramics classes at CMC and Anderson Ranch, she has landed at the Studio for Arts and Works here in Carbondale and immerses herself in her love for all things clay-related.
