UPDATE: Huge thank you to everyone who purchased work from our 2018 SAWliday Auction. SAW artists’ donated works brought in just under $1400 for an exciting project this spring.
@carbondalearts has been doing an incredible amount of work to art-ify the @riograndetrail through our @carbondalecreativedistrict and SAW is thrilled to be adding our own bit of art to the bike trail.
The Rio Grande Trail runs right along the backside of our building and currently in the warmer months it is mostly rocky and drenched in sun. Our plan is to add some trees for shade and an outdoor play area to stop and hang out and play some ping pong! Of course, in true SAW fashion, the space will showcase local artists drawings/murals/sculptures etc.
Exciting right?! Thanks again to everyone for coming together to support the arts in our beautiful town.
