Olivia Emmer of Olive & West Photography specializes in showcasing the talents of “people who make and grow things.” Her images of craftspeople, farmers, musicians, adventurers, and small-business owners have been featured in USA Today, RollingStone.com, Rock and Ice magazine, and more. Olivia grew up in Brooklyn, NY and Marin County, CA. She has a degree in Neuroscience from Brandeis University, but couldn’t get out of New England (and the lab) fast enough. Olivia has lived in the Roaring Fork Valley since 2007 (where she spent more than eight years working for the Aspen Center for Environmental Studies), with a two year hiatus living in the craft hub of Asheville, North Carolina, where she founded her photography business. Olivia is thrilled to be back in Colorado with her husband, Jackson Emmer, and their mutt, Willoughby.
