I was born and raised in Putney, Vermont. My dad is a glassblower and together he and my mom run Brandywine Glassworks. I spent a good portion of my childhood traveling the east coast to craft shows and watching my dad create for a living. After discovering ceramics in high school, I attended Alfred University in New York state and graduated in May 2015. A few weeks after graduation, my girlfriend and I (Kyrie) moved out to Carbondale to be Alleghany’s interns and make work at SAW. My work consists of functional ceramic forms and intends to display the potential value that living with and using handmade utensils and objects has.
